Abstract
In December 2021, in the Camellia oleifera Abel base of Guilin Institute of Forestry Science in Yaoshan, Cenruan 3 was used as the mother, Camellia osmantha, Camellia vietnamensis and Camellia oleifera ‘Hengdong Datao’ as the father, artificial pollination experiment was carried out.The results showed that all eight pollen treatments could improve the fruit set rate of Camellia oleifera, among which the average fruit set rate was the highest in the treatment of white sugar 10.0 g + boric acid 8.0 g + Camellia vietnamensis olescures 40 g + water 3.0 L, reaching 29.15%, which was significantly higher than that of the control. In the combined pollination treatment, the comprehensive fruit set rate with Camellia vietnamensis as the father reached the highest rate of 29.15%.Therefore, the artificial assisted pollination technology of Camellia oleifera is feasible to improve the fruit set rate of Camellia oleifera, and artificial pollination with white sugar 10.0 g + boric acid 8.0 g + Camellia vietnamensis olescrescence 40 g + water 3.0 L is the best, which can be popularized and used in Camellia oleifera production.
