Abstract

Abstract

Rosa chinensis var.spontanea (Rehder & E.H.Wilson) T.T.Yu & T.C.Ku, a newly recorded species of Rosaceae, was discovered in April 2022, when conducting conservative plants survey in Yintiaoling National Nature Reserve of Chongqing.Its morphological characteristics and habitat distribution were described as well as recommendations for protection were put forward.The vouncher specimen was preserved at Herbarium of Chongqing Natural History Museum(CQNM).
