Abstract
In order to solve the technical requirements of cutting and breeding of Dalbergia cochinchinensis in production, the cuttage tests were carried out at different times in autumn, winter and spring in autumn, winter and spring of 2016 in Xichan Nursery of the State-owned Forest Farm under the Longhai Forest in Fujian Province. The results showed that cutting in spring(mid March)had the best effect, with an average survival rate, seedling rate, and rootless rate of 90.93%, 82.28% and 8.5%; further experiments were conducted on different concentrations of GGR rooting powder for cutting and seedling cultivation. The results showed that soaking the cuttings with GGR rooting powder 300 mg·L-1 solution for 1 hour or 1000 mg·L-1 solution for 60 seconds had a good cutting effect. The average survival rate, seedling rate, and non rooting rate were 94.87%, 89.53%, 3.91% or 82.46%, 77.19% and 7.02%, respectively. The seedlings grew strong and had well-developed roots. Therefore, in the Zhangzhou area of Fujian Province, it is advisable to use GGR rooting powder 300 mg·L-1 solution to soak the cuttings for 1 hour or 1000 mg·L-1 solution to soak the cuttings for 60 seconds in mid March for the cutting and seedling cultivation of Coptis chinensis. The cutting survival rate is high and the effect is good, which can be promoted and applied in production.
