Comprehensive Evaluation and Selection of Potted Modelling Podocarpus macrophyllus Based on Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)

In order to screen the Podocarpus macrophyllus cultivars suitable for the application of small and medium-sized potted modeling, the characters of six Podocarpus macrophyllus cultivars('Taiwanjinzuan', 'Jinsihong', 'Sijihong', 'Xiaoxuanfeng', 'Caiyu' and 'juhua')introduced in Ningbo were observed, and an evaluation system consisting of 3 norms and 10 evaluation factors including the adaptability, ornamental value and difficulty of industrialization was established by analytical hierarchy process(AHP)method.The results showed that the seedling height and ground diameter of 'xiaoxuanfeng' were significantly higher than those of the other five varieties at four time points.The modeling performance, ornamental and operating cost were 0.4043, 0.1348 and 0.1021, respectively, accounting for a large proportion, which were taken as important index for screening the Podocarpus macrophyllus cultivars suitable for the application of small and medium-sized potted modeling.The variety with the highest comprehensive evaluation was 'Caiyu', which had certain value for popularization and application.
