The Status Analysis of Ornamental Plant Resources in Guangxi Gaofeng Forest Park

2020-2022, based on the investigations of vegetation in Guangxi Gaofeng Forest Park by route survey and quadrat method, the analysis on ornamental plants were carried out at species composition, life type, ornamental type, exotic plants and key protected plants in this paper.The results showed that there were 626 species of ornamental plants, belonging to 423 genera, 143 families, including 203 wild species and 423 cultivated species.The life forms of wild ornamental plants were mainly herbs, while the cultivated ornamental plants were mainly trees.Foliage plants had the most species, followed by flowering plants.There were 215 species of exotic plants, accounting for nearly half of the cultivated ornamental plants.There are 3 species of key protected wild plants and 32 key protected plants are introduced in the park.In addition, the ornamental characteristics of ornamental plants were evaluated and suggestions on the conservation and development of ornamental plant resources were proposed.
