Experience and Inspiration on Sustainable Management mode of Artificial Forests

The commerce development of artificial forests in British Columbia, Canada, has changed from direct utilization to high regulation, forming an ecological and multifunctional plantation stand.It is benefit to transform and develop Chinese forest industry by learning the advanced experience of foreign forestry.In this paper, it was explored that the key technologies and theoretical basis of the plantation management model in BC, Canada, including the aspects of forest quality maintenance technology, ecological logging planning technology, forestry management level and social participation.Then it was summarized that the research status of artificial forest harvesting, soil fertility maintenance and scientific research investment in China.Finally, the suggestions were put forward for the development of long-term scientific sustainable management of artificial forest in China.
