Abstract
This study aimed to classify the flowering period in Fujian cherry (Cerasus fujikawei). Over a span of two years, the flowering phenology of 42 grafting clones was observed in Beishan Village,Mangdang Town,Yanping District,Nanping City,Fujian Province. The results revealed significant variations in the flowering phenology among the clones, with repeatability coefficients of 0. 8799,0. 8800,0. 8386,0. 8961,0. 8923 and 0. 8679 for the bud swelling stage, bud opening stage, bud appearance stage, initial flowering stage, peak flowering stage, and end flowering stage, respectively. The 42 clones were categorized into three types based on their flowering time:early-flowering,mid-flowering,and late-flowering,with an average duration of 17 days for the flowering period across different clones. To create a landscape for viewing Fujian cherry during the peak flowering stage, one clone was selected from each type (early, mid, and late).
