Effects of Different Storage Temperatures on Pollen Germination of two Kinds of Ilex

In 2022，in Ningbo Academy of Agricultural Sciences high-tech agricultural technology experimental Park，using the pollens of I. cornuta and I. integra as experimental materials，the germination rate of pollens was determined by in vitro culture method under different storage conditions of room temperature(20～23 ℃)，4 ℃，-20 ℃ and-80 ℃. The results showed that the fresh pollens of both kinds of I. could maintain high vitality within 3 days stored at room temperature. The germination rate of the two kinds of I. pollen at 4 ℃ was low at 16 d and could not meet the production demand. The germination rate of I. integra pollens stored at -20 ℃ and I. cornuta pollens stored at -80 ℃ were both greater than 50% at 90 d，which could be used as the temperature conditions for long-term preservation of the two kinds of I. pollens.
