Abstract
In 2022,five years after the construction of Xinjiang Fukang pumped storage power station, the species composition, community structure, and life forms together with the species diversity of the secondary vegetation in the disturbance area were investigated. The results showed that the secondary vegetation was generally composed of sparsely-shrubs,including 5 typical communities such as Urtica cannabina,Juniperus sabina,Euonymus alatus,Caragana stenophylla and Rosa davurica, with 56 species in 33 families and 45 genera. There were 19 species of shrubs belonging to 14 families and 17 genera, and 47 species of herbaceous plants belonging to 28 genera and 23 families.Leguminosae and Rosaceae were the dominant families of shrub plants, while the herbs were dominated by the Gramineae,Asteraceae and Poppyaceae. The maximal species were found in the dominant communities Urtica cannabina and Rosa Maximowicziana, and the Simpson diversity index (D) and Shannon-Wiener diversity index (H') of these two communities were relatively high, but the most uniformly distributed was the Euonymus alatus community. The life form composition was mainly composed of ground bud plants and annual herbs, which respectively reached 64.29% and 37.5%.The most floristic types were found in temperate Asia zone, accounting for 42.22%.All the results indicate under the disturbance of the hydropower project, the ground bud plants and annual herbs had obvious diversity in the typical temperate sparsely shrub-herb.This study was beneficial for the selection of pioneer species in the ecological restoration after the disturbance of the hydropower project, and provided a scientific basis for the study of regeneration, succession and stable evolution of the secondary vegetation.
