Design and Application of Forest Paperpot Automatic Seeding Equipment

In response to the issues with traditional forest paper-pot automatic seeding machines,such as the need for a separate production equipment for each process,manual coordination between production stages,high production costs,and low efficiency,a set of forest paper-pot automatic seeding equipment was designed and developed based on the analysis of the overall functionality and structure of forestry seedling container seeding equipment.This equipment's automated control system uses a PLC as the controller,and its human-machine interface touch screen was designed through the HIM operating system for centralized display and control.The entire equipment integrates processes like seed tray feeding,hole punching,seeding,soil covering,compaction,and spraying,achieving fully automated production for all processes.The seeding device uses air-suction precision seeding to reduce the amount of seeds used (especially for precious tree species),achieving cost savings and increased productivity and efficiency.Production tests have shown that the equipment has a seeding qualification rate of 96.5%,reliable performance,convenient operation,and a high degree of intelligence,which is conducive to meeting the demands of factory-like and intensive nursery plant production operations.
