Abstract
Field investigations were conducted in 2022—2023 to investigate the distribution and infestation of Corythucha marmorata in Neijiang, Sichuan Province.Futhermore, an assessment of its invasion risk was performed. The results indicated that C.marmorata has been found in 36 towns across 5 counties(cities, districts) in Neijiang, including Shizhong District, Dongxing District, Zizhong County, Weiyuan County and Longchang City. The primary host plants were wild weeds such as Erigeron sumatrensis、 Erigeron canadensis and Artemisia argyi.Currently, the resulting damage was relatively minimal. The final risk value based on the integrated multi-index evaluation system of C.marmorata in Neijiang was 1.75,indicated that this pest species belongs to a medium-risk level. This suggested that C.marmorata has the potential for further spreading and dispersing in Neijiang, which requires regular investigation and monitoring.
