Investigation and Evaluation of the Current Situation of Key Protected Plants in Fogang Guanyinshan Provincial Nature Reserve

  • In order to assess the current situation and priority protection sequence of key protected plants in the Fogang Guanyinshan Nature Reserve, the plot method and literature analysis method were adopted. The endangered coefficient, genetic value coefficient and species value coefficient were used to quantitatively analyze the current situation and priority protection sequence of key wild protected plants in the Fogang Guanyinshan Nature Reserve. The results show that there were a total of 36 key protected plant species in Guanyinshan Nature Reserve, belonging to 27 genera and 19 families.Among them, there were 6 species of ferns belonging to 5 genera and 4 families, 2 species of gymnosperms belonging to 2 genera and 2 families, and 28 species of angiosperms belonging to 20 genera and 13 families. The evaluation results of priority protection show that there were 7 types of priority protection at level I,18 types at level II,11 types at level III,and no type at level IV.Overall, the Guanyinshan Nature Reserve has an excellent ecological environment, with a large number of rare protected plants distributed within it, which holds significant ecological conservation importance. The assessment results can provide a reference basis for the protected area to formulate targeted and effective protection plans for key protected species.
