Effect of Rooting Agent Treatment and Cutting Scion Shape on the Twigs Cutting of Corymbia torelliana

The test study on the effect production, survival and growth of Corymbia torelliana,by the GGR rooting agent, basal diameter of cuttings, length of cuttings and leaf retention methods on rooting, in order to solve the demand for cutting seedling technology of Corymbia torelliana,the results showed that different concentrations of rooting agent and the shape of scions played significant effects on the twigs cutting.It was recommended to select scions with diameter of 0.2～0.5 cm, trim them to a length of 15～20 cm, retain 3 leaves while 2/3 of the lower 2 pieces were cut off, and treat the base with 400 mg·L^-1 GGR rooting agent.These methods could achieve a high survival rate, which met the requirements of cutting production.
