Abstract: The basic concept，relevant policies and development status of forestry carbon sequestration projects were described in this paper. The problems and challenges in the development process of Forestry Carbon Sequestration Projects were summarized，to study and put forward the countermeasures and suggestions of improving the legal system and working mechanism，strengthening the construction of the technical system and the training of professionals，strengthening publicity and enhancing market vitality. The research results provide reference to china for promoting forestry carbon sequestration projects.
