In March 2022,the L

3) orthogonal experimental design method was adopted in the nursery of Guangxi Forestry Research Institute garden flower nursery.Three factors,branch shape (A),root powder concentration (B) and soaking time (C),were used to study the effects of each factor level on
Bauhinia touranensis Gagnep of cutting propagation.The results show that:the main and secondary levels of the three factors on rooting rate,average root length,number of sprouts and length of new sprouts were A>C>B;the main and secondary levels of the effects on the number of single rhizoid roots and root effect index were A>B>C;and the main and secondary levels of the effects on root roughness were C>B>A,indicating that factor C was the dominant factor in the index of root roughness,and factor A was the dominant factor in other indexes.The rooting rate,root number,bud number,bud height and root effect index of thin cylindrical cuttings were significantly higher than those of other branch shapes,and the root effect index was the highest (2.53).The root number,bud number and root effect index of 10 g·L
-1 were significantly higher than those of other concentrations,and the root effect index was the highest (2.30).The indexes of soaking time 15 min were the highest,and significantly higher than soaking time 45 min,and the root effect index was the highest (2.08).The results showed that
Bauhinia touranensis Gagnep.For cutting,fine cylindrical cuttings were soaked in 10 g ·L
-1 root powder for 15 min.
