Abstract:
In order to reveal the diversity and floristic characteristics of wild vascular plants on Nan’ao Island in Shantou City, based on quadrat surveys and transect surveys, this study conducted a background investigation of wild vascular plants on Nan’ao Island,Shantou City,Guangdong Province, and analyzed its diversity and floristic characteristics. The results showed that:①there were 462 species of wild vascular plants, belonging to 359 genera in 129 families.Among them, there were 33 species of lycophytes and ferns belonging to 25 genera in 16 families,1 species of gymnosperms belonging to 1 genus in 1 family, and 428 species of angiosperms belonging to 333 genera in 112 families. The composition of vascular plants in Nan’ao Island was relatively complex, and the number of species level was relatively small.②The floristic composition of the island was relatively complex. On the whole, tropical properties were more obvious, and the temperate components were the second most obvious after the tropical ones.③Compared with neighboring protected areas and island areas,Nan’ao Island showed that the comprehensive index of wild vascular flora and floristic speciation value of Nan’ao Island were low, which was mainly caused by frequent human disturbance.④There were a total of 12 species of rare and protected wild vascular plants in Nan’ao Island, including 4 species under gradeⅡof national key protected plants, including 2 endangered species. There were also 53 alien invasive plants, indicating that the invasion situation on Nan’ao Island was relatively serious. Therefore,it is necessary to further protect the rare plants on Nan’ao Island and impose control measures on the invasive plants.
