4个杉木第3代良种早期生长动态分析

Analysis of Early Growth Dynamics of the Third Generation Improved Varieties of Chinese Fir(Cunninghamia lanceolata)

  • 摘要: 以4个杉木第3代良种为研究对象,比较造林后5 a和8 a的保存率、树高、胸径及单株立木材积生长表现。结果表明:5 a及8 a林龄时,试验林整体保存率较好且较稳定,各参试第3代良种保存率均达到84.00%以上。4个第3代良种中,卫闽3代的保存率最高,可达98.92%,尤溪3代最低,仅为84.26%;4个第3代良种在树高、胸径及单株立木材积均存在显著差异,8 a林龄时,卫闽3代和将乐3代各生长性状均显著优于西陂3代和尤溪3代,材积分别较西陂3代大30.36%和59.17%,较尤溪3代大22.46%和49.53%;卫闽3代各性状表型变异系数最低,材积变异系数为56.32%,将乐3代、西陂3代和尤溪3代的变异系数较高,材积变异系数分别达74.04%、82.78%和80.59%;V1期(1~5 a)试验林树高和胸径整体年均增长率较V2期(5~8 a)高,而材积年均增长率V2期显著高于V1期;卫闽3代和将乐3代各性状整体上的年均增长速率较尤溪3代和西陂3代高,但随着林龄的增加,不同良种间树高及胸径的年均增长率差距缩小。整体上,各良种仍处于稳步增长的阶段。通过比较,卫闽3代和将乐3代2个良种较为适宜在尤溪地区造林推广,相关的研究结果解析了杉木第3代良种的生长规律,可为杉木第3代良种在不同地区的应用提供参考。

     

    Abstract: This study compared the growth performance(tree height,breast height diameter,and individual standing timber volume) of four 3rd generation Chinese fir varieties at 5 and 8 years after afforestation. Results showed that the survival rate of all tested varieties exceeded 84% during the 5th~ 8th year period,maintaining a high and stable level overall. Among them,Weimin 3rd generation achieved the highest survival rate(98. 92%),while Youxi 3rd generation had the lowest(84. 26%) . Significant differences were observed in the three growth traits across varieties:at 8 years,Weimin 3rd generation and Jiangle 3rd generationoutperformed Xipi 3rd generation and Youxi 3rd generation significantly. Their individual standing timber volumes were 30. 36% and 59. 17% higher than Xipi 3rd generation,and 22. 46% and 49. 53% higher than Youxi 3rd generation respectively. In terms of phenotypic coefficient of variation(CV),Weimin 3rd generation exhibited the lowest CV for all traits(volume CV = 56. 32%),whereas Jiangle,Xipi and Youxi 3rd generation had higher CV(74. 04%,82. 78% and 80. 59% for volume,respectively) . For growth dynamics,the average annual growth rates of tree height and DBH in the early stage(1st~ 5th year,V1)were higher than those in the middle stage(5th~ 8th year, V 2),while the volume growth rate in V2 was significantly higher. Overall,Weimin and Jiangle 3rd generation maintained higher annual growth rates than the other two varieties,though the growth disparities in tree height and DBH among these varieties narrowed asthe stand age increased. All varieties remained in a steady growth stage. By comparison,the Weimin 3rd generation superior variety and Jiangle 3rd generation superior variety are more suitable for afforestation and promotion in the Youxi area. The relevant research results have analyzed the growth pattern of the 3rd generation of Chinese fir,providing scientific reference for guiding the application of different 3rd generation Chinese fir varieties in different regions.
