Abstract:
Using the air quality monitoring data from 2020 to 2024 of Maofeng Mountain Forest Park in Guangzhou, the study analyzes the variation characteristics of PM

3 in the park. The Air Quality Index(AQI)was used to evaluate and predict air quality, and a Random Forest Model was employed to identify the major air pollutants contributing to AQI.The results show that:①From 2020 to 2024,the overall air quality in Maofeng Mountain Forest Park remained good, with monthly, seasonal, and annual average concentrations of the six major pollutants consistently below the Grade II limits of the Ambient Air Quality Standards.②The overall air quality in the park was predominantly at the "Excellent" level, with only 8 days of slight pollution recorded in both 2022 and 2023.Time series prediction of AQI indicates significant fluctuations between 2020 and 2023,a stabilizing trend starting in 2024,and a slight oscillation at a relatively low level with a continuous decline expected after 2025.③O
