Abstract:
Using 17 cut-flower rose varieties introduced from Kunming as experimental materials,the gray relational analysis method was employed to observe and evaluate eight trait indicators of the 17 cut-flower rose varieties,including flower color,fragrance,petal number,flower diameter,flower branch length,annual number of cut-flower branches per plant,variety vigor index and flower stem stiffness.The results showed that four varieties— ‘Darthuizer Orange Fire’ ‘Carola’ ‘Peach Avalanche’ and ‘Zhen'ai’—had weighted correlation degrees with the ideal reference variety above 0.6,indicating strong adaptability.Among them, ‘Darthuizer Orange Fire’ had the highest weighted correlation degree of 0.847,followed by ‘Carola’(0.740), ‘Peach Avalanche’ (0.722) and ‘Zhen'ai’(0.636).These four varieties(‘Darthuizer Orange Fire’, ‘Carola’, ‘Peach Avalanche’ and ‘Zhen’ai’)exhibited superior ornamental and adaptive performance and can provide reference for future selection and evaluation of cut-flower rose germplasm resources.
