Abstract:
In order to explore the suitable mixed tree species of
Dalbergia cochinchinensis and the suitable reserved density of
Eucalyptus urophylla×
grandis for interplanting
D.cochinchinensis,the growth of
D.cochinchinensis young forest mixed with different tree species(
Homalium ceylanicum,
Acacia melanoxylon,
E.urophylla×grandis,
Eucalyptus torelliana)and interplanting
D.cochinchinensis with different reserved density of
E.urophylla×
grandis (75,150,225 plant·hm
-2) were investigated and analyzed. The results showed that the average survival rate of
D.cochinchinensis in different mixed modes was 97.50 %,which was 11.94 % higher than pure forest. In July of the next year, the ground diameter and tree height of
D.cochinchinensis mixed with
E.torelliana were the largest, which were 52.32 % and 53.19 % higher than those of the control. The average 7 months growth of ground diameter,DBH and tree height of
D.cochinchinensis and tree height of in this model was the largest. The effects of different mixed modes on the survival rate, ground diameter,DBH,maximum crown width, tree height and branch height of
D.cochinchinensis were significantly different. The comprehensive scores of
D.cochinchinensis mixed with
E.torelliana and
E.urophylla×
grandis were higher, reaching 0.941 and 0.778,respectively.The average 7 months growth of ground diameter, tree height of
D.cochinchinensis and tree height of
E.urophylla×grandis under the conserved density of 225 plant·hm
-2 were the largest. The effect of intercropping
D.cochinchinensis under different retention densities on SPAD in December of the afforestation year reached a very significant level, and the effect on DBH in July of the following year reached a significant level. It was concluded that the 5∶1 mixture of
D.cochinchinensis and
E.torelliana or
E.urophylla×grandis and the intercropping of
D.cochinchinensis and
E.urophylla×grandis with a conserved density of 225 plant·hm
-2 were suitable as the main cultivation mode of
D.cochinchinensis in the early stage.
