Abstract:
Against the background of ecological civilization construction and the Healthy China strategy, forest therapy has emerged as a vital pathway for ecological value transformation and rural revitalization. This study takes three provincial forest therapy bases in Youxi County,Fujian Province—Jiutai Town,Jiufu Mountain and Guifeng—as research objects. An evaluation system consisting of four criterion layers (landscape resources, therapy activities, therapy facilities and therapy services) with 19 indicators was constructed, and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP)was applied to calculate indicator weights.Based on 326 valid questionnaires,importance-satisfaction analysis (IPA)and tourist preference correlation analyses were conducted. The results reveal that:①the weights of therapy services, therapy facilities, landscape resources and therapy activities are 0.2949,0.2791,0.2216 and 0.2045,respectively,indicating that therapy services are the core factor influencing tourist experience.②The IPA shows that ecological environment quality, dynamic therapy activities, forest therapy trail systems, and rest nodes and viewing platforms fall into the advantage area, whereas indicators such as therapy guidance services, personalized therapy plans, health monitoring services, smart service levels and medical emergency facilities are located in the key improvement area, representing critical constraints on the high-quality development of forest therapy bases.③Tourist preference analysis demonstrates that different tourist groups exhibit significant differences in product demands, consumption behaviors and length of stay.Based on these findings, strategies are proposed, including promoting the optimization and upgrading of therapy facilities, enriching the supply of therapy service products, and implementing classified improvement for different types of forest therapy bases, thereby providing theoretical reference for the construction and management of forest therapy bases.
